SWEET POTATO CURLY FRIES

French fries dipped in ketchup is--and will always be--one of my favorite things to eat. But I am definitely not picky when it comes to the shape, size or color of the fries. Today I decided to make Sweet Potato Curly Fries -- well... because the sweet potato adds a little bit of health and making them curly is just more fun. To be completely honest, I’ll take advantage of any excuse to whip out my spiralizer. The sweetness of the sweet potato pairs perfectly with Hunt’s Best Ever Ketchup, their thickest, richest and best ketchup. I love the fact that it’s 100% natural and made with no high fructose corn syrup. You can find my Sweet Potato Curly Fries recipe below!

DIRECTIONS

You have some options here. I chose to cook mine in the convection oven at high heat to get a crispy fry without deep-frying in oil because #health. But you can deep-fry, air-fry or oven-bake these:

OVEN

Preheat oven to 400 degrees (use convection setting if you have the option, because it circulates the hot air more evenly)

Spiralize your sweet potatoes. If you do not have a spiralizer, cut them into evenly shaped fries

In a bowl or plastic bag, add olive oil to the potatoes, making sure to get an even coating

Lay your oiled potatoes onto a cooking tray

Sprinkle with Sea Salt

Bake for about 20 minutes, or until crispy (cooking time really depends on the thickness of the potatoes)

Optional: Sprinkle some more Sea Salt on the cooked fries

Enjoy with Hunt’s Best Ever Tomato Ketchup
