Staying In + Staying Warm w/ Banquet MEGA
Sorry I haven’t been posting as much on here. I’ve been travelling a ton lately. Hong Kong, New York, Arizona, New York again and Florida for the last few weeks. I’ve had such an amazing time, but I am happy to be home for a little while. I love travelling and eating out, but now that I do this full time, there are definitely days where I just want to stay home, watch a movie and take it easy. Especially now that it is getting colder outside. Since I don’t do a lot of cooking, it can be hard to get restaurant quality food at home. I recently discovered Banquet MEGA, which has totally changed the game. This stuff has made it so easy to fill up at home. And they come in a bunch of different flavors, which I love because I tend to get sick of eating the same thing over and over. Today I’ll be cozying up by the fire with a movie and Banquet MEGA Buffalo Chicken Mac ‘N Cheese Deep Dish Pot Pie.
I grabbed a package from my freezer, tore off the top and slipped it into the microwave. It was ready in no time. I don’t usually deal with dinner until I’m already extremely hungry, so this was definitely a plus for me. If you have a little more time, you can also cook it in the oven. I love the ease of being able to microwave or bake yet still have a crispy crust that tastes like it is made from scratch.
The Banquet MEGA Buffalo Chicken Mac ‘N Cheese Deep Dish Pot Pie tasted awesome. It’s made with 100% white meat chicken, packed with 22 grams of protein and stuffed inside a made-from scratch flaky, golden crust. I am one of those people that can eat a lot without getting full - I guess eating all day has taught my body to expect big portions. The Banquet MEGA meals are definitely hardy. The portion size was more than enough to keep me full as I spent the rest of the evening watching tv and catching up on work.
It’s only January, which means we have plenty of cold nights and snow storms ahead of us in DC, or wherever you are reading this from. If you are looking for an easy but substantial meal to keep in the house for a night-in, you should check out Banquet MEGA. I will definitely be keeping a few boxes in my freezer for a quick and fulfilling meal at home.
